Brief Background
He was born under auspicious signs on November 11th, 1949, at 11 o´clock in a Lotus Village in the south of Central China. As his family were practitioners of the YiQi and the DAO for centuries, his talents and extraordinary potentials were recognized and trained holistically from his first day according to the highest principles. Later on, he perfected his skills and he simultaneously worked as a famous ’natural healer’. But the most influential teacher remained his mother. She taught him the fundamental meaning of Heart, Virtue and Goodness for all beings for his inner and long-term development, with the motto:

Exploring and teaching the primallife source YiQi
After decades of working as Qi-doctor (with the healing energies of Qi) he realized, that healing the patients would not solve the whole problem, because the roots of the illnesses would still exist and the people would not be able to help themselves.
To give people long-lasting support, he decided to teach them the old, but secret methods of self-improvement that come from the YiQi and DAO. So, in 1989, Wei Ling Yi started as a Lecturer for a new historical epoch.
In the following years, together with western-trained scientists, he carried out empirical research on the benefits of Qi in many areas of medicine and education, which led to permission being granted for Hon. Prof. Wei Ling Yi, to found the First International Qi Gong University ever in China.

Wei Ling Yi, as the founder and principal of this extremely successful first University of the Qi-Sciences, became well known and recognized beyond China.
Based on his many years of interdisciplinary research on Qi and its applications there, he developed the ancient knowledge and wisdom of the East into an empirical science compatible with the modern science of the West. He trained thousands of students in novel methods and practice systems and taught high-level Qi-masters of different branches.
He became internationally known as an extraordinary expert on the unfolding of the full human potential that usually remains hidden. Before the turn of the millennium, he brought the hitherto only rudimentary or secret knowledge of the power of the Qi, with all his vital aspects, to the West. He was invited to the United States, Germany and many other countries and became the founder and head of the World Qigong Head Office Association and several World Qigong Congresses.
As a pioneer, he is at the same time an explorer, an artist, poet, singer and dancer of the creative evolution; in constant contact with the universal power. He is a helpmate of all the YiXue Dao travelers from their stage of recovery to their highest wisdom, who connects the practitioners with the universal life source – called YiQi and their own soul directly.
The Lotus Master is a man of the highest ethical standards, a brilliant teacher who at the same time transmits, with the method of non-verbal communication (teaching without words), cosmic wisdom to all branches of knowledge.

As a result of his self-realization and life-long experiences with the YiQi, Wei Ling Yi is a catalyst of the universal energy, pioneering work in the exploration of the life force, in the creative arts, and in many fields of knowledge (medicine, education and science) and their application.

As he clearly sees the problems of mankind in the new global information age, he wants to help develop a new holistic world view and scientific paradigm, which he called: YiXue.
